Encounter Toronto

There is no better way to learn about the Jewish people than by encountering them in everyday life. Your gift provides a unique encounter with Jewish people for someone interested in ministry and service to the Jewish people. This FOI Encounter experience includes touring an Orthodox synagogue and communities in Toronto, ON, visiting the local Jewish Community Centre and Holocaust Museum. We subsidize FOI’s Encounter Program so that cost is not an obstacle for high schoolers and young adults. You can help shape and mentor a future generation whom God calls into service and possibly full-time ministry by giving a gift to help them Encounter Judaism.

At The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry—Canada, we share God’s love and kindness all year long, but at Hanukkah we take an extra special opportunity to express it in a tangible way.

As Hanukkah approaches, our staff and dedicated volunteers join together to prepare special boxes filled with Israeli goods such as fruit, chocolate, nuts, jam, tea, lotion, halva, honey, and hummus. These gifts are then delivered to Jewish families, friends, and community agencies as a heartfelt expression of our love and support.

Prophecy Conferences

Canada’s universities have become a battleground for truth. Antisemitism is spreading rapidly, and misinformation about Israel and the Jewish people is influencing the next generation. At the same time, Bible-believing Christians are being mocked and targeted for their faith.

In the midst of this, The Friends of Israel is taking a stand. Our Field Representatives and Interns are actively engaging students, challenging false narratives, and pointing them to the hope of the gospel. They are setting up outreach tables, organizing impactful campus events, and bringing strong voices to speak truth with boldness.
