Explore the unique characteristics of the Messiah, His purpose, and how one would recognize Him. Beginning in Genesis 3, when sin entered the world, through the entire Old Testament, God promised a redeemer—the Messiah. Learn how Jesus, God’s only Son, fulfills Scripture as the promised one of God.

Shadows of the Messiah are spread throughout Israel’s feasts. The purpose of these feasts were always instructional. See how the feasts taught Israel what the Messiah would do and how to recognize Him when He came in His First and Second Coming.

In Galatians 3:24, the apostle Paul said the Law was our tutor to point us to Christ. The design and observance of the Law amplified Israel’s need for a Messiah. Examine the prophecies of the Messiah in the Law in both His First and Second Coming.

One of the predominant themes in the Psalms is that of the Messiah. A little more than 10%, or 16 of the 150 Psalms, are classified as messianic. Trace the messianic predictions in the Psalms and distinguish between His First and Second Coming.
